July 28 -Newmar Factory Tour

We are travelling to Bremen, Indiana today, staying at Pla-Mor Campground and going on a Newmar Motorhome factory tour this afternoon.
The tour was quite interesting but we weren’t allowed to take any pictures. Many of the workers are Amish and prefer not to have any “graven images” of themselves. The best part of the tour was seeing how the motorhomes are floated on air cushions and then pushed around the factory floor from station to station. Then when we were all done, we got to walk through all of the finished motorhomes at the end of the line.
When we stopped at the parts and service counter we noticed this motorcycle out front that has been built to accommodate a wheelchair. Peter was impressed.
Afterward we ended up at yet another antique mall.

When we stopped for groceries, Peter noticed Uncle Jim’s Corvette on the front page of a magazine!
