Auntie Norma and Christi-Lynn

Drumheller is famous for dinosaurs
James and Lena
A red deer in Red Deer!
We are meeting with Auntie Norma for breakfast before we head to Red Deer this morning.  It was so nice to see family while here in Drumheller.  Off to Red Deer we go.  We got settled in our campground and then headed over to our friends, James and Lena’s for supper.  It has been a year since seeing them, so it was wonderful to hear all that is going on in their lives over the last year.

Aug 25 -Drumheller, Rene, Diane, Christi-Lynn and Norma

From Prairie

To Badlands
Christi- Lynn with us in the Walmart parking lot
We are travelling to Drumheller today.  We have plans to have supper with Rene and Diane (my aunt and uncle).  And my cousin, Christi-Lynn, is travelling from Calgary to stay the night with us at Walmart!  It was a wonderful visit!  My Aunt Norma joined us for coffee too!

Aug 24 -Southview Church of God, Sean and Andrea Coulombe

We attended Southview Church of God this Sunday.  It was nice to see some familiar faces.
Peter did not attend today as he was not feeling well.  After church we headed home, to have lunch with Peter and relax for a bit before our supper plans with Sean & Andrea Coulombe and their girls.
We had a wonderful meal with them at Tony Roma’s and then we headed back to their lovely home for a visit.  Wow! It was so great to reconnect with this super family.

Aug 23 -Time out in Medicine Hat

Last night the car was completely dead, not even a click when we turned the key. Because of the cool misty air in the morning, when we turned the key Peter saw a tiny curl of smoke coming from the chassis ground wire behind the engine. He just shortened the wire and reconnected it. Problem solved. Thank you Lord for cool misty Alberta mornings.
Zane went for a bike ride on the trails that our motorhome looks over.  He took the Go Pro camera and had a blast riding up and down the great hills here in Medicine Hat.
When we were in Alexandria, MN we were introduced to a fellow Canadian at the RV dealership. When he heard that we were going to be in Medicine Hat he suggested that we eat at Ralph’s Texas BBQ. Peter thanked him for the suggestion and then the fellow introduced himself. He was Ralph.

So…We went to supper at Ralph’s Texas BBQ. We asked if Ralph was in, but he was still traveling in his new RV. His son came to our table and introduced himself then offered us a tour around the place. It’s very large, with a dance floor, tiki bar, pool room and more. Also it was a Great meal!!

Aug 22 -Moose Jaw, Kevin Baum, Medicine Hat, The Bergs

We are heading to Medicine Hat for the weekend today, making a stop in Swift Current to see Pastor Kevin Baum.  He took us on a wonderful tour of the church and the youth center in downtown Swift Current, SK.
We enjoyed a great visit over lunch at Boston Pizza, and then continued on our journey to Medicine Hat.  We got settled at the Gas City Campground and then joined Pastor Lyle and Laura Berg at their home for a delicious steak supper!  It was a fun filled day and so wonderful to connect with people we haven’t seen in so very long.

Upon arriving back to our campground, we had some car trouble, so we left the car overnight and will need to work on it tomorrow.
