This is a wonderful Corvette
museum but its most interesting feature is the fact that the museum is built on
land that has caves below (sinkhole), and overnight on Feb 12, 2014 a sinkhole
caved developed, inside the building,
pulling along with it, 8 Corvettes.
They have left the sinkhole for visitors to view and put the cars on
display once they were pulled from the sinkhole.
Attendance is up 60%
Both the 1,000,000th and the 1,500,000th Corvettes were recovered from the sinkhole |
