We attended church for Easter
Sunday, at Liberty Baptist Church in
Elizabeth, NJ, just a few minutes from our hotel. It was an amazing experience! The church was packed and we were the only
white faces in the crowd. It was high
energy, loud and the people were praising and dancing as they gave thanks to
the Lord. A few ladies danced up and
down the aisle too. We were hugged and
kissed on the cheeks and welcomed so wonderfully! You could not help but leave this church
feeling loved and valuable. They didn’t
use a projector, but they would sing a line in their worship song and the
congregation and back up singers would repeat the words, so it was easy for us
to follow along. They stream their services on Livestream but unfortunately the service only shows the last few minutes for this particular Easter Service.

After church we grabbed some
lunch and headed to the hotel to go for a swim and hot tub. Later on we decided to hop on over to IHOP
since it was Easter.
