On Route to Maryland we made short notice plans to stop for lunch in Fredericksburg, VA to meet with Clint and Dianne Van Zandt. Clint is often seen on NBC news as he is a former FBI profiler. Clint negotiated for the release of David Karesh’s hostages at the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco, Texas.
We had a wonderful Italian meal and most of all a fantastic visit. It was great to catch up on all that God is doing in Clint and Dianne’s life! What a blessing it was for us to see them again.
We then continued on our way to Cherry Hill Campground in Maryland. What a great campsite, with lots of amenities, playground, hot tub, and wonderful laundry facilities. We had fun biking at the campground as the hills we a workout to ride up and the down hills were great fun. The best part is that the bus comes directly to the campsite to take you to the subway trains that lead into Washington, DC
