Feb 5 Louisiana Gators -Cajun Food

We are on the move to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  It was a long hard drive for Peter today, with strong cross winds and tall bridges. The two did not mix well.  But, Peter is an amazing driver and the Lord is so very good, we are thankful for his protection.  We hit a tire on the road today, which did some minor damage under the motorhome and we are so grateful as it could have been major!  Thank you God!

We stopped along the way at a visitor information booth that had baby alligators and a lady who told us all about them and we got to hold them and learned so much!  It was a great stop!  After arriving and getting settled into Farr Equestrian RV Park in Baton Rouge, LA we went out to eat our first Cajun meal.  It was very interesting, lots of deep fried crawfish, catfish, oyster, shrimp, stuffed crab and stuffed bell pepper. That was just Peter’s meal. We also had  po’ boy sandwich  and gumbo.  It was worth a try, I’m not sure we are all sold on the Cajun food, but were thankful for the experience, which also included live entertainment.
