Today is Zane’s Birthday and
we had planned to spend it travelling to New Mexico. Bad Weather in NM and TX enticed
us to stay in Phoenix where it is 23
Degrees Celsius.
Zane had a small gift that he
couldn’t wait to get his hands on. An “Adventures in Odyssey” CD set.
Basically today was a school
day and catch up on laundry day. We went to Dairy Queen for some ice cream
after eating supper in the motorhome.
Jan 24 Musical Instrument
Museum –Roller Skating
Phoenix has a wonderful
Musical Instrument Museum. We spent hours here looking at various country’s
musical instruments and hearing what they sounded like. Zac spent some time on
a concert piano in the lobby and had many compliments on his skill. All of us
got to try our hand at various instruments from around the world in the "hands
on workshop"
We finished the day by doing
something special in celebration of Zane’s b’day. We took the kids to do
something they had never done before. Rollerskate. We were a bit bruised and
sore but it was a lot of fun and they are itching to do it again.
