The journey begins back to
the United States. We had to travel some
of the free road out of Mexico, due to the earthquake, which took out a chunk
of the toll highway. We are continually
grateful to the Lord for his mercy and protection while driving. We never met a semi-truck on the narrow free
road, not even once! Tijuana was
absolutely crazy, but we made it into the bus lane to cross the border, after
running over a curb on a tight turn.
And, praise the Lord, once again no damage and we are safe.
The border crossing was
interesting. We were not supposed to be
in the bus lane, which we didn’t know, but the guard was gracious and allowed us to cross through
without us getting out of the motorhome!! J
Once in San Diego, we choose
to go back to Circle RV for a few nights to get some things done like laundry,
putting fresh water into the motorhome, and we all needed haircuts.
Peter put this on Facebook saying that he can manoeuvre a 65' motorhome through the crazy streets of Tijauna but I think I need to guide the grocery cart :) |
