Goldfield, just outside of
Apache Junction, AZ is a commercialized ghost town a short drive from Phoenix. They give tours of the
abandoned gold mine, have a train you can ride around the town with a guide as well as a number of shops. The tours were educational, the food was good at the
saloon and the Mystery House was a lot of fun.
