May 17, Cabot Trail

We are travelling in the car around the entire Cabot Trail.  We stopped at a wonderful Art gallery, in an old church and the kids received an art lesson from the owner who is also an art teacher.  Zac was able to play an 1860’s Broadwood grand piano at the gallery.  Very Cool!!  The woman at the gallery gave us amazing advice about touring the Cabot Trail.   As we travelled down around the Cabot trail we stopped at a leather shop, and a glass blowing shop with lovely items.  We then headed to the Middle Head hiking trail, which is a 2 mile hike to the tip of a peninsula with spectacular views of ocean all around us.

As we continued around the trail we stopped at a Tim Horton’s about 4 in the afternoon. We were the ONLY people there. Just us and 2 staff. It seemed surreal.

Lobster Fishermen

We read a sign that says we shouldn't move any rocks, it could upset the ecological balance.
Peter says "Let the kids skip rocks"
Sounds like a song from the 80's
