May 14 -Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove

We are travelling to Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove, NS today to see the quaint towns and beautiful homes.  We stopped and did a bit of shopping in Mahone Bay, famous for it’s three churches. While looking around the town we stopped at a shop where we watched things being made with pewter.
Next we continued on to Lunenburg for lunch and to see the Bluenose II.  All across Canada you can purchase a medallion of its predecessor’s image for only 10¢.
One our way to Peggy’s Cove we stopped at the Swissair Flight 111 Memorial

Peggy’s Cove was our next stop and it is truly amazing with the huge stones on the beach and the beautiful view!  A place we will never forget!

These granite rocks are huge. Zane is standing on the horizon, directly in the middle of the pic, Genesis is in pink and yellow just beside the small pool on the left.
