Jan 8 Construction and rehab

Besides visting with Hueberts and ourselves, the Adams family came to put the 1st floor rook on the new girls home.

Another day of working on construction, and Zane has been enjoying it immensely.  Peter is beginning to feel better and has been helping on the work site the best he can.  We have had to get medicine and antibiotics for Peter, Zac, & Zane.  In Mexico, you can just walk into the pharmacy and purchase the antibiotics you want.  So, Zac received all the medicine he needed for $9 US.  Unbelievably inexpensive compared to Canada.  Zac has been working on his school, helping the kids with their homework, and teaching piano and guitar lessons regularly.

In the evening, I was blessed with the opportunity to join Sandy at a teen girls’ rehab.  The girls are young, 12 to 16 years old, and are put in this rehab by their families who pay for them to be here.  The girls commit to 6 months in this home.  They have been put here because of drug and alcohol addictions.  We played a few games, sang a few songs, prayed and Sandy lead them in a Bible study.
