Nov 5 Drive Thru Tree, Tsunami Zone, Fern Canyon

We began the day with the kids riding bikes around the campground, while I made french toast for breakfast.  It was raining a bit & Genesis decided to ride through the puddles and ended up with a streak of mud up her back, but she was happy to be dirty as she said "it was fun!"  

We headed out in Zac's jeep to explore the area, not realizing it would be an all day adventure.  :)  We travelled through a tree, to the ocean, and to Fern Canyon, which is where Jurassic Park, Lost World was filmed.  We were all in awe of the size of trees and God's amazing creation all around us!  Fern Canyon was a highlight!  Please take the time to watch our video below.  We jumped puddles, walked logs and stood in the water coming down from the edge of the mountain through the ferns covering the sides of the mountains all around us!  Beautiful!!  The reality of how small we are on this earth was clearly evident today as we trekked through many paths amongst the massive trees and in Fern Canyon.  Thank you once again Lord for all you have created and the blessing it is for us to see your beauty!

Genesis was afraid of the potential for wild animals so Mom and big brother Zane stepped in to help.
