After visiting late into the
evening we slept in a bit, and then had a relaxing morning with Hank and Sandra
In the afternoon, we headed
to The Forks, in downtown Winnipeg. It is very beautiful by the river, with
cool shops and a splash park. The river
walk was closed due to all the flooding that has been happening. The river was rushing and this time of year
it is typically low enough to walk across.
We headed back to Hank and Sandra’s and then went out for supper to a
local restaurant, Roxies, for a nice supper.
