Aug 10 -Steinbring RV in Garfield, MN

We are driving to Garfield, Minnesota today to park overnight in the Steingbring Motorcoach’s parking lot, as we are getting some maintenance work done to our Newmar motorhome tomorrow morning.
When we arrived the compound was locked up solid. We had forgotten to confirm with them that we would be staying in their yard overnight.
While Peter was trying to find some phone numbers to call a kind gentleman who owned the property pulled up and let us in, showed us where to park and texted the dealership owner to let him know we were here.

God’s blessings come in things both big and small.
This blog is once again, maybe for only the third time, completely up to date :)
Our cell Data plan is taking a beating.

Aug 9 -Stillwater ice cream

Child's cone
$3.50
Peter drove about an hour away to check out a lawn mower for his dad, then got the oil changed in the car.  While he was away, Zane and I headed to do volleyball again, and then Genesis joined us for a swim.
We had lunch at the motorhome and then headed out to see the town of Stillwater, Minnesota, a lovely, quaint town right by the river with lots of antique shops.   We enjoyed our day together looking around and had a great meal at a Phil Tara’s Hideaway restaurant, then for dessert went to Nelson’s ice cream shop for the biggest ‘Childs’ ice cream  we have ever seen!  Maybe the biggest kids cup in the world!  LOL

1920's Evinrude Outboard motor turned
into a table.
$2400
We didn't buy it.

Aug 8 -Brazilian Restaurant

We took a down day at the RV park today.  I did some laundry, played volleyball with Zane, and then we all went for a swim.  Fabulous pool at this RV park, as it is heated!  Yeah!
Then Peter and I had plans for a date night.  Whoo Hoo!  We had a wonderful night, went for a massage and then out to supper at a Brazilian Restaurant. At this restaurant they continue to bring fresh cooked meats of many varieties to your table. We had ribeye, bacon wrapped chicken, corizo sausage, bacon wrapped filet, top sirloin, bottom sirloin and much more.
So terrific to talk and spend time with my amazing husband.

Aug 7 -Mall of America

The robot over Zane's shoulder is 32' tall and
made entirely of Lego
Off to the Mall of America we go.  We arrived at the mall around 11:30 a.m. and shopped till we dropped so to speak.  We did not leave the mall till 9:30 p.m.
There are 3 stories of stores and places to eat, as well as an indoor amusement park, cool Lego store, and American Girl.
For those who know West Edmonton Mall. This is how the largest mall in America, MOA, compares to the largest mall in North America, WEM.

MOA 4.2 million sq ft
MOA 520 shops

WEM 5.3million sq ft

WEM 800+ shops

Aug 6 -Twin Cities

We are on the road again. This time to St. Paul, Minnesota, part of the Twin Cities with Minneapolis.
Our destination is St. Paul East RV.  A beautifully maintained campground close to all that we are wanting to do.  There is a great field of grass right in front of where our motorhome is parked, so Zane, Genesis, Peter and I took advantage of it by playing some Frisbee.

Aug 5 -Noah's Ark

We had a relaxing breakfast in the motorhome and then got organized to walk over to Noah’s Ark Waterpark.  We arrived at the waterpark around 11:30 and had a blast watersliding all day till 6:30 p.m.  Then stopped at Dairy Queen for supper, as we walked right past it on our way back to the campsite.
